Taken Review

Firstly if you ever want to watch a fast paced action movie Taken is that movie hands down. Liam Neeson stars in this action packed movie that pretty much will have you on the edge of your seat the whole time from start to finish. So where do we begin well this movie starts off when former spy Bryan Mills (Neeson) daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) is kidnapped in Paris and when he finds out he stops at nothing to bring her home to safety. He has to rely on his skills he has honed over the many years working in his profession to the people who kidnapped his daughter and while in the process uncovering something bigger at large.
Once again I will do my best to avoid spoilers but I’ll give enough to get you into it. So the movie starts off with Mills life in disarray, he isn't with his wife anymore and barley has anytime to spend with his daughter. So pretty much Kim wants to go on a trip to Paris, while her father is very concerned about the travel idea, eventually he caves in allowing his daughter to go with her friend. And this is where it starts, from landing in Paris, a man offers the ladies to share a cab to the place where they are staying not knowing that this is a set up for something much big. Eventually after finding the location of where they are staying it pretty much goes all downhill from there they are kidnapped. One line from the movie “I will find you and I will kill you!” when Mills says this over the phone, you know it is getting serious. As mentioned it is up to Mills to save the day by finding his daughter, while travels through dark streets of Paris in search for his daughter. The movie really has a great pace to it from start to finish; it just keeps building with all the suspense especially when he asks a particular person for information while he is attached to a chair....

This movie is for those moments when you want a fast paced action movie with great moments, gun fight, smooth fight scenes, and of course Liam Neeson acting, Maggie Grace also has a solid performance in the movie.

I give this movie 4/5, it is just a fun and awesome movie.
